What it is
Every board can be solved by reasoning alone. No board ever requires a guess. If you are stuck, there is always a next step that logic can find — and the hint button shows you that step and why it is forced, rather than simply revealing an answer.
Star Battle is also known as Two Not Touch. Hamstar is that puzzle, with hamsters instead of stars.

Adverts, and what is not in it
One advert, and only if you ask for it. Lose a board and you may be offered a video to watch in order to carry on. You choose. There are no adverts between boards, none on the menu, and none that appear on their own.
